Ribbon Cutting and Other Fabulous Things!
It’s been a pretty fabulous few weeks. The hurry up and wait game that is construction finally ended and we were able to have our ribbon cutting on April 30th. And then on May 2nd we held our first pop up event, our Mother’s Day Brunch. The overwhelming joy that we feel from our sweet community and getting to watch your faces light up as you experience our beautiful space has been moving in a way that we honestly didn’t expect. We know we live in a world where “stuff” seems to be the most important thing and so we are intentionally cultivating a space where experience and relationships are the priority. We hope that you will come see us and experience the warmth and shift in intention for yourself. Enjoy the photos!
How it Started
The building around 2024.
It started with a dream to save a historic building in downtown Columbiana. It was being sold as is and “as is” wasn’t great. One parcel that made up two storefronts on Main Street. The building was getting attention from folks who wanted to turn it into offices. And in the tiny downtown district losing two storefronts would have been sad. Sad for the surrounding merchants, sad for the town, and sad for the Main Street district. So Michele and Wade Faulkner took the leap and purchased the building. And they began restoring the building and recovering it’s history. Take the journey with us as we look back on the process.
